This Razer Xbox Controller And Charging Dock Bundle Is 60% Off

A great deal that costs barely more than a brand-new controller by itself.

GameStop is selling Razer’s Xbox controller and charging dock combo for just $80 right now (normally $200). That’s a steep 60% price drop on a new controller and handy accessory that any Xbox player should look into. This set used to be exclusive to Razer's storefront--where it still sells for $200--but now GameStop carries it, too.

The dock recharges the controller up to full battery in under 3 hours, so it can easily top off your controller’s charge in between play sessions. The dock is equipped with overcharge prevention so your controllers won’t overheat or damage the battery even if you leave it on the stand for long periods.

The included controller is a standard Xbox gamepad, but it features a unique Razer-themed black and green design with a partially transparent case. Like other Xbox gamepads, the controller works on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Windows. It also supports Bluetooth connections, so it can work on Mac, Android, and iOS, which is helpful for cloud streaming games with Game Pass Ultimate . It attaches to the charging dock via magnetic connectors on the back.

You can grab the control and charging dock combo online and get it fast with GameStop’s standard 1-3 day shipping. Some customers may be able to get same-day delivery or in-store pickup depending on local availability, so head over to GameStop and check out the deal if you’re looking for a new controller or charging deck.

If you’re looking for other new controller deals, this pro-style Xbox controller is only $40 for a limited time, and there’s a new Zelda-themed Nintendo Switch Pro controller available at Amazon that’s perfect for collectors. And if you like controller and charging deck combo but aren't interested in the Razer-themed design, multiple Star Wars controller bundles are available for great prices at Amazon.

Here is the funny thing about this gadget. The batteries included in the razer dock charger are not being sold separately. meaning if you have another controller or the batteries provided, die. You need to buy another razer dock charger :|

Thanks Razer, thats real smart.

@HellishDude: Wait, do you mean the internal batteries or pack, is not replaceable? Like you cannot open the controller, dig out the razor cells, and replace with a similar cell from say merchant like amazon or ebay?.

Does the razor dock charger ... is it married to the battery pack like expensive cameras, etc.? thank you.

@jenovaschilld: The rechargeable batteries come with the dock charger. You can add them into the controller. The issue is there are no replaceable and they are not sold online. Which means if the batteries provided in the package are defective or die out from too much charging, thats it, you can't find replacement and you will have to buy another dock from razer.

@HellishDude: Yeah that is a bummer. If you know the cell charge, I guess you could make or own or hack it, but you are right. Just a terrible anti consumer design.
